Title: 88 Samurai reverse lights question

When I start up my rid and it is idling or driving the reverse lights are on, is that a problem with the transmission reverse wiring harness?  If so what is the best way to replace the wiring harness?

switch might be sticky.
doesn't sound like a wiring problem.
