Title: Sidekick  Real 1/2 door pics

I took about 8" off of the top.  The new door line closely matches the bulge line of the fenders and leave the horizontal door brace intact.  This set up also retains the factory mirrors while still giving you a better view of the trail and that open air feel.

To get the angle I just tied a string tight around the top front mirror mount and pulled it to the bottom corner of the door.  Quick simple and easy to duplicate.

Sweet, what did you do to fill the top of the door where it was cut? I have been wanting to do something like that with the doors off of the tracker.

Nice!!!!  How about using garage door weatherstripping along the top of the cut.

Someone need to make a quick release so we can switch back and forth.  I wouldn't want to go very far in MI with out side windows........too much chance for a suprise rain.  My Track smells bad enough from all the swamp water and getting rained in with the top off.

Factory doors are quick release.  Just pull the pin,  (much harder than it looks), but easy to do once you get it in and out a few times

I haven't done the tops yet I finished cutting the drivers door about 10 pm last night.

I've been up 30+ hrs again so I'm rambeling below...  :-/Sorry  working that 12 midnight to 4pm shift  :P ::) :-/

If you are going to get the wet stuff on the inside pull the carpet and floor plugs.   I like my sammy because I often run no top in the snow.   Just shovel the snow out of the drivers seat and bundle up and head to work.   ANd when it gets cover with mud on the inside just stand on the targa bar and hose the snot out of everything.  It's fairly water proof.   Here are some pics from my two sammy web sites.  Both are out of date...

Once you get the fish out is doesn't smell so bad.

I thought someone took my rig out of the repair shop.  Imagine another camo painted sammy.
