Title: Axle Spline count and Diff count

I just bought a front and rear diff both from different people though. What happens if they are not the same spline count?  ???

The front's????  or what?   the front's come in 22 or 26 spline, the rears should be the same.   changing the side gears will fix it, prob 35.00 or so from trail tough used plus shipping!

Either or my tracker is a 95 and the front diff came off a 96 Sidekick....if that helps. The rear came off of 92...I hope everything works out.

So what your saying is the one that you bought for the front has bigger side gears then  :'( time to get some better 96 axels for it also. 8)

Turns out that I got all the parts I needed in the lot I bought WOO HOO!!!  ;D

I got all these parts for 175 (http://i13.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/4d/55/fa_1_b.JPG) not bad, 5.13 front diff, half shaft axle shaft and hubs. I'm using all the parts and going to sell mine.
