I have been running across more and more spam hidden inside of threads instead of new threads being started for the spam. This makes it MUCH harder for me to locate the spam, but with your assistance I can deal with it quickly.
If you see any unusual posts that contain a hyperlink (either in the post of their signature) please do not click on the link and report the thread immediately.
Many of you are already doing this, and your help is greatly appreciated.
For those of you that do not know how to report a post:
At the bottom of each post within a thread is a "Report to Moderator" link, just click on it and then add a comment to let me what you found.
Once I receive the notification email, I can link straight to the problem and get the spam out of your threads.
Thanks in advance for helping us keep Zukiworld a friendly smooth running site.

I have a hunting and fishing forum in Utah, and I get spammers all the time, worst part is, well maybe the best part is, I get damn porn sites come in at night, and post tons of XXX pics. Lol. I had to get 5 mods to help me keep up with them. I eventually had to give new members access manually, what a pain in the anus.

Manually approving new accounts is one of the better ways to eliminate spammers. Another good way I have found is to make them answer a question, when registering (most software has this capability). Most spam accounts are automatically generated (I think), and the automatic generator doesn't have the capability to answer a question.
