Looks like a simple & lightweight kit to strengthen the Samurai frame mounts. :) Great work!

Nice and simple if you have a welder. :)

I have two. ;)

I have none... Might have to get one and start figuring out how to use it.

Yep, that is what I did. Took a couple of evening vo-tech classes. My skills have become rusty since-I plan to get back into it this winter.

So, to get back on topic. Since I am new to the whole Sami thing, how wide spread is the issue that the new frame fix/reinforcement kit is needed? I haven't even really started my build yet and I'm curious to know if this is something I should get now or wait until I have an issue and then get it?
Thanks,
Rob

I saw the oblong issue when a bushing tore on my t-case mount. It is extra insurance though, and at the price it doesn't hurt the pocket book that much.

IMHO, it's not an issue if you run the stock OEM rubber mounts. They stretch and give before the frame bends. If you run a solid type of mounts, which includes bolts through bushings, you need to reinforce the frame mounts.
