Well I decided to attempt another mod to my 91 Tracker. I did the IFS widening today and am very happy with the results(can you say bigger tires ;D)
One thing that Mike should've mentioned in his article is that an extra set of hands would make a big difference :P. Next on the list is a Lincoln Locker and raising the gas tank. I'm pooped, time to relax :P ;D
-
thats cool so biker, you live out in cedar?
-
Hey Biker, I see a Symbiotic relationship happening here. ;D
I'll help you out with your mods if you want to help me widen my front end.
I imagine you will need another set of hands to do your gas tank lift. Call me one day and we'll do both trucks ;D

are you 2 guys still plainning on the 18th? for the IRC show at slegg lumber?
-
I'd like to make it down for the 18th but it depends if I have my kids or not that weekend.
Kreg, we could do both tanks in no time with two of us doing it, the front end requires lots of work and lots of prep work as well as sourcing all needed pieces but we can talk.
Edit, sorry man, yes I live in Cedar

I want to go, but I just remembered that we have a boatload of things happening on the weekend.
We were going to plan a camping trip, but my brother in-law is too slow at making decisions, so we don't even know where we are going to go.
To top it off, my cousins are coming out from Alberta for a week. My original plan was to take them camping with us, but I'm not sure if they will be up for that since our plan was to leave on Friday; the day they get here.
So I got to juggle some ideas around. I may just scratch the camping trip all together and take my cousins to the 4x4 show.

Ya thats no prob man. I was just flirting with the idea of widening the front end, but it’s not on my priority list.
Definitely give me a call though and we'll do the gas tanks for sure.

Vancouver island is just north of Seattle, Washigton, and off the coast of Vancouver, BC (hence its name).
Don't let the word "island" fool you either. This island is larger than the country of England ;D
-
Vt is a really long ways away it is just under Quebec, roughly a 5 -6 day drive from Vancouver island, maybe longer in a lifted truck.
