When people say swap, they generally mean swapping in something different - like a 1.6 in place of a 1.3 or a 1.6 16v in place of 1.6 8v - if they are both 8v motors, it's more of a remove & replace than a swap - you can follow the factory manuals.

Yeah, you're right. The term "swap" is more for upgrade/changes. This is truly and r&r only. Just wanted to see if anyone had anything they could share that wasn't in the FSM.

It's a lot easier if you pull the radiator, front grill and the strip that goes across the front where the hood latch bolts to. That way you have room to slide your motor forward when pulling it out. :)
