well, your talking about 2 totaly different things here.... the undertaker is a BEFORE transfercase under-drive that reduces your final drive ratio. think of it as just lowering ALL of your gears.. HIGH AND LOW
the sidekick/tracker 4.24:1 DOES NOT reduce high range, it only reduces your low range gearing. THIS ONLY REDUCES LOW

I think the problem your trying to adress is hiway driving, correct? If so , the proper answer is the undertaker , brent says it brings you back to stock gearing with 33" tires......with that in mind, REMEMBER..tire size will still effect the performance of these things reguarding of the gearing..ROLLING MASS has a BIG EFFECT on a 98 HP motor!

Yes i know the transfer case only effects low range.if i buy the undertaker should i still buy the transfer case gear's as well or will i been ok with the undertaker.

My rig is a daily driver and i use it for hunting and play in the snow.if i can save money by just getting the undertaker and not transfer case gear's ill do that.but i just mite put a toyota 2.7 motor in it now.Im kicking the motor swap around strong.

Have you wheeled a rig that has the xfercase gears ? I was looking hard at yota cases thinking I needed a lower final ratio, mines 88 to 1 with the 4.2 gears and It's almost too low in 1st. at 3500+ rpm it's going 2.7 mph with 33's. one problem is it doesnt want to pull the 33's on the highway very well. Im trying to get setup where I tow most of the time so it wont be a problem.

$450 is a pretty good deal for that setup, as long as its in ok condition.

I really like the 4.24's in my Sidekick... And I'm only running 30" tires.
Plus, a twin stick setup is nice addition as well.  :)
