Title: WTB 1992 Geo Tracker heater/ AC blower switch

I am looking for a blower switch for my 1992 Geo Tracker.
I need to replace it because the blower that I have right now runs only in one position.
I have found one on the web but I don't know if it's gonna work on my car, so I need some help with this.
Will this work for me? AIRTEX 1S1755 Switch, Blower

Post by: Joe Llamahead on September 29, 2012, 10:44:12 PM: I can offer some general information : most blower capered controlls use a resistor cluster in series to drop voltage for lower speeds , o if it only works on high , then thi is likely to be the issue. Again generally speaking theses resistor clusters are typically mounted in he plenum so that the. Blower air runs across them and cools th e resistors. If theses r the case I would also inspect the fan for leaves And or rodent nests. Typically what leads to the failure of h resistors

Post by: smife on September 30, 2012, 04:53:04 PM: Joe is correct. It could just be the resistor........ If the switch itself has a funny feel to it when switching between speeds start there. I have replained resistors, they set under the dash on the pass. side in the fan housing.
