As some of you may know I've been doing a leaf over and throwing in a set of 5.12's. Well it's done except for front shock brackets and longer brake lines. I'm also waiting for my 35X12.50 Pro Comp X-terrains whick should of been here Weds.
For the rear shaft I used the front Yota shaft with the cardan joint. I also need to finish a new crossmember so my front shaft won't hit. Here's a pic. (http://www.quickvwbug.4wdriver.com/images/dunon31front1a_0008.jpg )

(no constructive content since I'm not knowledgable in Sammies :))

Looks good! :D
What's your spring/perch/shackle setup? Reason I ask is the front looks to be a bit higher than the back. Or, maybe just the angle of the pic ? :-/

The bottom of my post can answer most of your ?'s. I've been running a dual friction Centerforce for a year or so since I rebuilt my motor (cc'ed, ported, bumped up compression, bigger ss valves, gapless rings ect.) so powers not an issue since I have 5.8:1 low t-case with 5.12 gears. With a crawl ratio of 112, I think I'll be O.K. ;)

Calmini shackle reverse, BDS 4" springs, Breeze rear shackles, fabbed front folding shackles, 6" perch rear/4.5"front, doetcsh tech shocks all around, slid front axle forward 1.5"
Here's a pic from the rear side. In my first pic it just looks lower in the rear do to my digi cam.
