Title: Power steering Pump upgrade
Post by: bentparts on October 06, 2012, 04:59:45 AM
In the middle of major service on my tracker and while I got the engine out I want to service the PS pump which is also leaking out the pulley shaft seal. Gonna probably just real seal the whole thing with a seal kit off ebay, but was curious, is there a stronger bolt in alternative that will give a more powerful steering?

you can shim it and slightly enlarge the orifice.

shimming <2 mins

if you are still not happy, you can tap the box, and go partial hydro for <$100 (as I am)

ON EDIT: your are font IFS, so not sure on where you can mount ram for hydro...
