Title: Dual Friction Centerforce where to get cheap
Post by: bashzuk on May 15, 2005, 08:13:30 AM
Does any one know of somewhere to get the DF Centerforce for a Samurai cheaper than $220
Been searching but thought I would ask here.
Since I burned mine up on the last trip.

Good luck, that price looks to be pretty darn cheap to begin with.

too small a tire and too big an obstacle. one too many times
Didn't kill it completely just heated it up so that it was butter.
It Drove back to camp. just couldn't drive up a hill.

Trail tough 266 + 10-20 shipping for DF Centerforce clutch and both bearings.
it sucks when parts are almost as much or more than what you paid for the rig.

I think I've seen $90 clutch kits on ebay. Not a CF dual, but once you get better gearing a stock clutch should do ya fine ...

save money on the clutch and get the tcase gears sooner :)

Too late Sno I already bought the clutch. Hopefully once I put it in I never have to replace it again.

Got my clutch and bearings today. it is the smallest clutch I think I've ever seen.
course I hadn't seen an engine as small before either. well on a riding lawnmower maybe.
