so , I was looking thru the classifieds and I saw a picture of a sami front end with what looks like a tracker rear third in the place of the stocker , it even had the upper triangulation bar mount for the tracker . I was told that a tracker front third would work in a sami front , but not a rear tracker third , so why is this not supposed to work and how did this person do it ? I am thinking about this swap will I'm doing my SAS , the iron third would be much stronger and I already have both front and rear spares .I believe the person that posted the ad was airmanwilliams and it was advertised as a front end for a tracker sas .

That is not a stock samurai axle. It has a trackick rear center section in it.
The trackick rear third is physically too large to fit in a stock samurai axle housing.

you could use the rear third member out of a sidekick/Tracker in the Samurai with a hibrid rear housing
Contact Low Range off road

Sounds like he is working on doing a front SAS on a trackick. So how is a hybrid rear axle going to help him?
