Title: New to Samurai's

Hey guys. I'm looking to purchase a Samurai of CL. It looks to be about an 88 with a 1.6 Carbed Tracker Swap in it. Spring lifted with 33's. My only concerns are it doesn't have a top (no big deal) and the ignition uses a screwdriver and a push button start. I would want to convert it back to the stock ignition if possible.
Any help would be nice

I am wondering why a screwdriver and a push button to start it?  There might be quite the list of problems that have facilitated the use of those items to start that Sami. Swaping out the ignition switch is not the simple job I thought  it would be when I tackled it but it is doable for sure. I'm not sure about your area but around here it is quite possible to find a nice Sami with a top and working key switch in the $3000 price range.  Good luck however you decide. c
