Title: removing a body lift
Post by: CowboyKeller on October 27, 2012, 03:16:05 PM
Is removing a 3" body lift and replacing it with a 3" suspension lift easier than it looks? It looks like a pretty intimidating project. Im new at this whole modifying thing.

I've thought about doing the same thing but decide to leave it time and time again. I know I'd have to cut and shorten the steering shaft since its been lengthend. The gas tank filler hose has to be shortend since it was lengthend during the lift. All the blocks must be removed them the original body mounts bolted back down. It's defiantly do able but will take some time

Dont let it intimadate you..I had the same thought process before doing my lift since I had never done it before. As long as you got the tools and the time you can handle it. Past that, is why this site is here just post any problems you run into and there are plenty of zuki nerds on here with a ton of expierience to help you! I say jump into it and post some pics of the rig too!  :)
