i seem to have shakin something else losse in my car again ::) seems to be something in the drivers door relating to the window/ window crank it clanks and clicks when i roll the window up..i can also feel it in the crank
so i need to get the door pannel off to see what i shook losse this time lol but i cant get the window crank handel off
thanks for any help =)

There should be a clip on the back of the crank that needs to be taken off. Use a rag or something you can get behind it and work off that way. watch it cause the clip might go sailing. good luck
-
like behind the door panel?? or on the outside of the door pannel on the back of the crank??
-
outside of doorpanel behind the crank. between the back of the crank and the door panel
-
oooooooo ok...that thing comes off ::)...and when i break this can i get a new one from the dealer? lol
-
It's a steel clip, not really that fragile
-
oh its steel..ill have to poke around i thought he was talking about the little molding thing that is between the crank arm and pannel ::)..ill get it all figured out tommorow

The window crank clip will probably come out without breaking, but some of the little clips that hold the interior door panel on will almost certainly break. At least they do for me. You can find replacements for those at car parts places and, sometimes, even at places like Lowe's.

that clanking is prolly the handle...the splining inside is prolly stripped. if it is, it happened from the window it self not sliding propperly...pull the door apart and use some silicone oil on the window track and all of the cables inside. also....the weather striping on the inside of the window might be "pinching" the window and making it tought to roll up, that happened to my passenger side door. good luck and i hope this helped
