Title: Tracker motor

Hello all,

               I'm starting to think about doing a motor swap for my 86 sammi, my question is will a tracker motor work and or be better than the sidekick motor ??? Any info is most appreciated !

The Tracker & Sidekick use the same motor.

Maybe, but I prefer the Tracker engines  >:D

Good luck with your research. I tried at one point to put together a thread with everything someone would need for the swap, an idiots guide if you will. But the task proved to be too much for one man and it didnt draw enough cooperation from others so I abandoned it. A few pointers for you would be to get a 16V, and pay someone else to so the swap, or be prepared to lose a large amount of your free time and waste some money on wrong parts and mistakes.
