Title: Sway bar modification

OK... I figured if my truck had a lift on it, then my sway bar and links would have more constant tension on them.  That's my logic behind this, anyway.  So, I found a piece of square tubing that was about 1 1/2" inch square and 1/4" thick, cut it to length, based on my sway bar mounts, then cut this piece in half, then drilled two matching holes in this tubing to align with the threaded holes in my frame, then mounted my sway bar to these.

These mounts push my sway bar forward and downward.  Do they work?  I guess they do. ???  I installed these in 2007 and they have been on there ever since.  I changed my sway bar links once since then.  I replaced the original OEM links with a new set of Moog links about four years ago.

The main issue with the GV is the higher the lift your control arms start pushing in and the sway bar is to wide. You need to heat the ends up and bent them in a bit so your end links dont get destroyed or bind up.

I think that item #5 within this link (from FTS 4X4), performs the same task as the spacer I made 8 years ago.

Spacers made ​​of an inch and a half in the stands of the stabilizer bar , the terminals were a little inclined but works perfectly . Upload photos later.

Did your sway bar links install easier than before? Do they now appear to be better aligned with the hub assembly mount?

Yes no problem  ;D and It not totally aligned, but much better if you install without these spacers  8).

I have seen that other vehicles have rear stabilizer bar and have not seen anything anywhere for GV, have seen something? ??? ??? ??? ???
