Title: Geo tilt column in a Samurai
Post by: corsazuki on July 07, 2015, 05:41:37 PM
I got power steering for my 88 Sami from a 93 Tracker with a tilt column.
Anyone ever install a tilt tracker column in a Sami?

The connectors are different so i was hoping for some advice as to issues with the wiring?

Just my way of thinking, but, at least for me, the wiring would be the least of the issues - Suzuki has been fairly consistent with wiring colors, so just matching the colors should get you a far way.

Do we know what years or models had the tilt column?  I would like to find one for my Sport.  I am not huge, but I am certainly not small at 6'5" and 250 lbs.  The tilt should be a rather easy swap if I can find one with the airbag intact.
