Title: US 2002 Tracker remote lock ??

I have a new to me 2002 US Tracker and have a ? about the remote locks. When I lock or unlock the car I get no response except the door locks or unlocks. Should I get a horn beep or lights flash. I don’t see anything in the manual       Thanks   Jim
