Title: differance between a 93 and 98 16v block

does any one know the difference between a 93 and a 98 16v block I blew a hole in my 98 block and can get a 93 motor for next to nothing can I just use the block with my head and injection

You may also need to change the oil pump, pan and crankshaft timing pulley.

The water pickup is also different, along the back of the block underneath the intake.
