Title: Can I use longer screws on the rocker arm shaft?

Mine are stripped and are difficult to find where I live (Small town in Mexico)
I have found some allen screws like the ones that sell in LowRange, but they are 5mm longer.

What is keeping you from cutting the longer ones you have down?
