Title: How do I tell if my motor mounts are hydraulic or solid?
Post by: mash4077 on October 18, 2015, 08:23:17 PM
I have to replace one of the motor mounts in my 2003 Chevy tracker 2.0 4 cylinder but I was looking on rockauto.com and it shows 2 options. Either hydraulic or solid. How do I tell which one to order?

Thanks in advance.

The DEA part (DEA A6455HY) states "OEM".  Both mounts in the Rockauto catalog appear the same EXCEPT the pic of the solid mounts (DEA A6455) has two threaded bolts on one side where as the hydraulic version had one.  So visually check your truck's engine mounts and see what you have on your truck.
