I have to replace the motor mounts on my 2003 Chevy Tracker with the 2.0 4 cylinder and I could really use some assistance on what to do.
I have a floor jack and 2 jack stands. What else do I need? And if anyone could give me directions on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

would be best to have engine puller...... but possible with what you have. jack up slow remove and replace tighten , on to the next side

Is it hard to do on this specific vehicle? Any tricks to it?.
Also is it easier to take them out from the bottom or the top?

If you're going to work on your vehicle, there are times when you're going to have to figure things out on your own.
Pull the hood and look at it - I'm going from memory here, because I'm about 2500 miles away from my car - there is ample room on either side to reach the mounts, and the alloy arm that bolts to the engine sits on top of the mount, and I believe is secured by either one or two nuts - what I can't be certain of is how the mount is secured to the frame, but I believe that is a single nut.
The procedure will generally go like this - get a block of wood to fit between the head of the jack and the oil pan (to spread the load) - remove the nuts on one side and gently jack the engine up until you can remove the mount, fit the new one, jack the engine down & secure the mount, and then repeat on the other side.
I haven't replaced mounts on one of these yet, but, I've used the above procedure on more than one vehicle without problems - you will need to make sure that you're not stretching or straining any cables or hoses, whilst jacking, but typically there is enough flex - some vehicles are fitted with engine stabilizers that need to be removed, but, this is not one of them.

Great thank you, That helps a lot.
I wasn't sure what that arm was or if it needed to be removed or not.
