I wheel my 03 vitara pretty hard. Its currently a "strictly offroad" trail buggy. So I was watching youtube videos on offroad 2nd gen vitaras, and I see a guy with both airbags blown out from hitting a rock or something. How can I avoid this from happening in the future for my buggy? I'm honestly surprised that they have not gone off yet already lol. I know some vehicles shut off the fuel pump as well. I'd hate to be having fun miles from anywhere and blow the airbags and lose fuel. Just like a snorkel, this is a type of preventitive maintenance for future feeling of security

There's no inertia switch on these vehicles - the ECU shuts off the fuel pump within a few seconds of the engine stopping. As far as airbags go, there should be a fuse, which can be removed.
