Title: 15x7 wheels with 30inch tires.....

I have been running my 30 inch Hercules Trail Diggers on stock wheels for a several months now.  I have been flirting with buying 15x7 wheels since before I bought the tires.  Right now I am 1" spacers behind the stock wheels up front to keep from rubbing the frame when turning.  I am about to finally buy some 15x7 inch wheel with 3.75 backspacing if you can convince me it is necessary.  I am hoping the stability and on road handling will be improved with the wider wheels.

So who has gone from stock wheels to wider wheels and noticed and improvement in handling?

I started with stock wheels and went to steel rock crawler wheels with 30" federal mudders loved them and with a lift body/suspension I noticed a huge difference on and off the road. now running ford aluminum with 30" bfg at, I like them they are quieter but miss the mudders
