Here is a quick photoshopped picture of what my X90 will look like with the 39.5" tires on it. The 35" Kenda tires (with Warrior wheels) that are on it now, are for sale in the classified section for $800.00. As soon as I get them sold, I can afford to buy the other two 39.5" tires (I have two now), and can post a real non photoshopped picture of it on here. Believe it or not, the 39.5's fit with no wheel spacers(front or rear), or lift (body or suspension) in the rear, and only 1-1\2" suspension lift in the front.

Your body sticker should say 'Hot Wheels'

My wife calls it the "Mud Bug", so I went with that, however, it is the " Hot Wheels" logo.

Just 39.5s? Why not 44s? I don't think you'll need to regear at all, throw some dana 35s under it with portaltec boxes and call it a day.

LOL!! 44's, no way......The 39.5's are plenty big, and when driven in 4 low, with the hubs unlocked, it seems to be geared just right

Your deleted thread on pirate says otherwise...

How are you going to address steering component strength? 39.5 tire with rim is going to weigh 130+ lbs when the factory 25" tire probably weighed 40lbs. Not to mention turning radius, rolling resistance of bigger/heavier tires and the limited strength of your motor/trans/tcase/axles. I don't think you'd be able to clear the firewall to turn as the scrub radius will be pretty substantial. I don't think running tcase in low will do anything for you off pavement. My 1.6 16V with a 6.5 case (1.69 high range) and 5.29 Toyota axles was at its limits to turn (and stop) 39.5s on my samurai buggy, and it's a trailer queen. Stock ratio and components of an x90 I don't think will cut it. I'd seriously rethink your idea before you waste money, cool idea and I can dig the hot wheels goofy car idea but doesnt seem functional.

Eventually, I plan on doing a 4.3 V6 swap, and going with a SAS. For now, everything actually works okay, and I will just drive it until something breaks. Yes, the brakes pretty much suck, as they can't keep up with the extra rolling mass/resistance. I just have to try to plan ahead, as much as possible. If I go off-road, I basically have the same gearing as driving the stock X90, with stock tires, in 4 high. There are no serious hills to conquer around here. We only have woods, trails, sugar sand dirt roads, and a few small mud pits. As far as turning goes, I can actually turn full lock to lock (on a flat surface), with about 1/2" or so frame clearance. It's not much, but it does clear.

I will just drive it until something breaks or I kill someone. Yes, the brakes pretty much suck, as they can't keep up with the extra rolling mass/resistance, but I don't give a crap I'll be surrounded by 4 BIG tires!. I just have to try to plan ahead, as much as possible and hope I don't have to plow into someone to stop. Did you mean to quote yourself then pat yourself on the back?

No, the ''Newbie' comment was in response to DannyL. The quote was supposed to include what he added to what I had written. I was not quoting what I wrote, nor patting myself on the back.
