Title: My bumper build
Post by: hwyman on December 28, 2015, 06:35:44 AM
I took some inspiration from BRD HNTR's build
http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/replaced-rear-bumper/ (http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/replaced-rear-bumper/)

I still need to add a couple more brackets to it but I have to wait till the weather and work allows me some time to do anything else

I have done the 2x4 rock sliders on the passenger side and will do the drivers side soon
I don't have any full shot pics yet.

I added some rugged ridge shackle mounts to the rear over the weekend

Are you going to put them up front also?

I got these at an amazing price because they had been returned and I am having the guys at work build me something similar.  I do need to redo the front bumper mounts before I do anything I put a piece of tubing thru the front cross member with the ends capped and taped for bolts and had it all welded in.  I need to tie the front bumper into that as well as the stock bumper mounts

I need to do some work on the mounting brackets but I think the bumpers are finished
