Replaced window motor with Toyota Camry motor. It went together great but does not move, tried driver door and passenger switch and nothing happens. What else can it be ? no way both switches are bad is there ?
-
What else can it be? Wiring, and yes, the switches. The switches are in series (and two per side), one pair does up, one pair does down, and it only takes one switch to stop the motor - you need to get a meter and check the voltage drop across the switches, because dirty or high resistance contacts that test good in a continuity test, can fail under load.

Thanks.. so if one switch is bad neither will work ?? I was thinking it could be a fuse or a relay but have no clue where to look.
-
Because each control is two switches, it is possible for the one control to be defective in two different ways - one control can be bad and the other still works both up & down, or to not work at all - and with the way these vehicles are wired, if at least one power window works the problem will not be a fuse or relay.
Based on what I'm reading, I suspect you have little or no electrical experience and no test equipment - attempting to troubleshoot & repair electrical systems with no experience and no tools is like shooting in the dark - luck & chance.

Well i am a Dumb ass.. I did replace the motor with a Toyota Camry motor and it works great the old one was very slow. I think the whole problem was the window lock was on !!! thanks for replying .

I didn't not consider the window lock out button - that would certainly do it.
