Hi All.  Own a 2002 XL7 5 spd manual w/125k miles.  Started clunking underneath some time ago when coasting; even w/engine off.  Rhythym keeps pace w/rotation of driveshaft.  Ive been told its gonna be a whole new driveshaft... Is this true?  Thanks!

sounds like u-joints to me... that's where I would start. You might have to remove drive shaft too inspect the play in the u-joints
