Title: Vacuum line

So there is this vacuum line I am not sure what it goes to any help? ???
Maybe it goes to this since there are is no hose connected to it :-\ (http://[img])[/img]

I'll go out to mine in the morning when there's some light. I know the guy who runs a carb shop capped one of my lines and said, "You don't need that one."

It doesn't.

I don't know what the vacuum line is for, but the metal tube in the lower picture is the fuel pump vent and nothing connects there - it is a drain in case of a leak, if you ever see oil or gas, dripping out of that line the pump needs to be replaced.

Thanks fordem that's good to know about the fuel pump.
I guess I forgot to say. It's an 86 suzuki samurai jx. Yea that vaccum line I feel might have to do why I failed California smog. :(
