Hello Adventure Enthusiasts!
ZUKIWORLD ZUKFARI - Another One Over Adventure - JUNE 25TH THRU 28TH 2016
Upcoming Event! You too can be on an expedition to the most remote place in America
Bend, OR – We are in the planning stages of a Suzuki only 4×4 overland adventure and would like to invite all Suzuki enthusiasts to join in. We are currently targeting either dates in late May / June. Due to the nature of this area a late summer activity would not be advisable. Background: Over the years, we have went on adventures where the itinerary and the goal was not all too structured and not the point. We’ve been fortunate and have found some amazing things out there. Awhile back we stumbled on the idea to hit the border convergence of three states. The first one we did was the California, Nevada and Oregon Borders.. That trip was such a fun success we carried on with creating another event following the same Latitude and culminating at the Idaho, Nevada, Oregon border. This trip… is the next one over…

Still thinking about dates for this:
- Memorial Day Weekend plus one or two days on either side May 27 thru 31
- Middle of June-ish June 17 thru 20
- Run it into July 4th Weekend June 30 thru July 5
Thoughts?

-
Definitely would love to go! Memorial Day weekend is the only time I have available.
-
Plans to see/do: A hot spring at the three creeks, Cave, petroglyphs, ghost town of Silver City and Jarbridge, Also adding "city of rocks" near Almo...
-
Do you have to do all of the days? I live 30 min from Vale and would like to wheel with some fellow Suzuki owners, but I won't be able to get time off of work for five days.
-
Yeah, I think it'd be somewhat possible to connect for a day along the way. We'll know pretty well where/when we'll be, specially at the beginning of the adventure.

-
That would be awesome thanks!
-
The sidekick and I are "in." Email sent...
-
Right on Matt, glad to have you. I went camping with David this weekend and they're in as well.
So, for the dates....
Let's make it official: June 25th thru 28th.

OK
-
This trip is right around the corner, just a couple of weeks away!
Whose rig is ready to go? Whose rig is like mine, and needs about 3 weeks of work to get ready?
-
Working out the final details and we've got another adventurous soul to sign up. Expect an email with more info soon.
:)

Sounds like Paul is out?
So just 4 of us? Small group for this trip!
I have the sidekick in the shop again tonight; removed my VX7 radio setup, and doing permanent install on my cell repeater. Tomorrow evening is a new CV shaft. With any luck, my new mobile radio will show up early next week so I will have a day or two to get it mounted in the 'kick.
-
OK, Email has been sent to those I know/think are going. If you are going and you didn't receive and email about this adventure, please contact me ASAP. There is still time to pack your rig and come on out with us. It's going to be a hoot!
:)

David's out too?! Bummer.
I can't wait to head out on this trip. I NEED a vacation.
My sidekick is 95% packed. I loaded the KML file into my ipad and phone and checked out a few of the waypoints. Napoleon Dynamite's house? Dude. Sweet.

Putting together an excellent article, should be up soon. The trip was a blast and I have to say that I want to go back to Jarbidge and explore the Copper Basin more.
I'm thinking direct to there trail ride next summer...

I'm going through my video and photos from the trip right now; lots of great footage! I'll have a video to share in the next few days.

Thanks, it was very fun... We're planning the last one over for next year. It'll be the convergence of WYoming, Idaho, and Utah. Keep an eye out for a planning thread coming soon.
