Title: Calmini 3" lift
Post by: BurninDaylight on April 03, 2016, 10:23:56 AM
Has anyone tried to get a Calmini 3" bolt on lift kit lately?  I ordered from Calmini in December and and still getting the run around from them that they can't send the kit because their not producing springs until they get enough orders to make a run.

Ordered an exhaust and header from them last year.  Will never do business with them again.  Waited weeks until it shipped, extremely poor fit and quality.

I would cancel your order and get some OME springs.  They have a little bit less lift, but they flex and ride well for a daily driver.

Appears to be a conflict between application of the product.  The last thread in the above link said he installed the Calmini cam in a fuel injected engine.  He also stated Calmini said it would run in a fuel injected vehicle and again that it wouldn't on their web site.  So... it appears to me the problem may simply be conflicting application info.... not the cam or quality of the cam itself in this particular thread.

I ordered a 2.5" lift for my GV back in October of last year. Every couple weeks I call, and they say "its going to be another couple weeks". I'm also waiting on springs.

I wish they would say they were on back order or something on their site. Or be more genuine when you call.

The way things are looking Altered Ego's going to have their 4.5" set out before Calmini is able to get me my lift. Or I'm going to end up hitting the year mark.

(and shhh peanut gallery about my history)
