Title: What ATV do you use in Sidekick Automatic Transmission
Post by: sidekickyc on April 13, 2016, 10:27:11 AM
 I have been using Dextron III in daughters 97 sidekick;

Is that what you've used or is/do you think, another type should be used?

Thank you

I think Dexron III is ok. However, Dexron VI (6) is the current best fluid.

Although newer fluids are supposedly backwards compatible, this is not always the case - Dex II/III is the recommended fluid and is still widely available, that would be my choice.
