Title: You camber nuts, because of you I over did it
Post by: bandit86 on June 03, 2016, 06:27:01 AM
Reading on the forum about camber adjustment softer the 2 inch coil spacers, so I elongated my top holes a little.   Then I flipped the steering knuckle out, and cleaned out the rust from behind and ground a little down from the back of the knuckle.  That got me a little more too  in total I got over 3/32 elongated hole for adjustment.  Way too much.  The top of the tires are 1 inch in compared to the bottom.  Next time 1/8 might be enough. If you loosen both bolts and pus up on the brake rotor, you can get a few more thousandth as well.  The way it sits I would have proper camber for a 4 inch lift

It doesn't take much!  The OME struts are already slotted to accommodate their OME spring suspension.  No adjustment is necessary... unless, of course,  you increase the lift over the 1.5" the OME suspension normally provides.  Then you need the camber bolts again.

Does the Calmini and other aftermarket control arms require camber bolts to obtain proper alignment?

Has an alignment done today.  Went in at -1.93 degrees and -2.03 .
