I have a 94 Tracker. This is a pretty basic question and I feel a little dumb asking it BUT how are the wiper arms removed?? I can lift them up on their spring loaded pivot and I can then rotate the wiper arm 90 degrees but I can't find a release button or lever. There is a blask plastic block with numerous slots and I believe it has the word "Bosch" engraved. I do know that pulling and twisting doesn't seem to help. Is it possible that the arm isn't removeable and that all you can do is slide out and replace the rubber element? ???

It sounds like you are talking about the wiper "blade" not the arm.
The arm is what moves the wipers back and forth. The blade is attached to the end of the arm and holds the rubber part.
Anyway, the remove the wiper blade... You can see the metal comes up and makes a hook. On bottom side you can see a little hole. The part in the middle will have some type of tab that has to be pushed in and the blade bracket will slide back and out of the hook.

I was gonna say - to remove the arm all you gotta do is remove the acorn nut.

Yes, I want to remove the blade part that holds the rubber element. I checked again and couldn't find any sort of "tab." I tried poking around with a small screwdriver in case the tab is recessed into the molded plastic block. It seems as if the blade and arm are manufactured as one part. The lower arm comes off after removing an acorn nut. I suspect that this is the OEM wiper. Possibly it's only the aftermarket units that have removable blades with the locking tab you mentioned. ???

If you have a place like Auto Zone, go there and they will show you how to change them if you buy a new set from them.

Tip, Buy the whole blade assembly, don't
just buy the blade inserts.
They will work better and they are new black
not all fadded, and they don't really cost
much more, and are a breeze to install, click
and drive away, all of 3 Min to change wipers,
and that includes getting them out of the package.

Instructions are always helpful. I posted my question here in hopes of receiving instructions. This may be a case where simple instructions without additional detailed photos aren't enough.
