MY Suzuki uses about 0ne and a half pints of oil every 2000 miles is this normal ???? no smoke at all from exhaust pipe

Using or Loosing, that is 1 pint every fuel tank, and that is excessive.

No - it's not normal - not even at a pint and a half in 2000 miles.

The oil has to be going somewhere - it's either leaking it or burning it - that much of a leak would be hard to miss, and since you haven't mentioned that, I have to assume it's burning it.

Start with wet & dry compression tests and post the numbers.
