My Sami's former life was as a so-cal lowrider straight out of Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke. 8) The t-case shifter locked up in neutral last week. I knew from my addiction to Zukiworld that it was the shifter sheet. I ordered the pastic ring from Petroworks. When I removed the boot there were about 30 pieces of the old ring. Why would the ring deompose if it were used only in 2H? How long will the new ring last being used?

Why would you buy a used one? twist it real good and see if it falls apart, if it does throw it out, if it looks ok put it in and go!

I bought a new one from Petroworks :P I replaced it. It was easy. My question is why would it break up if it were allways left in 2wd? If you actually use it each weekend shifting back and forth how long do they last? :)

mine only lasted 14 years.
