Title: 1986 Sux Sam 1.3 engine, stock, 86,000 miles 5 speed stick Vacuum Line informati

I need help with a vacuum line port which is located on the front edge of the intake manifold.  The port is visible if you
stand in front of vehicle looking at engine compartment slightly bent over looking straight down.
Placing a vacuum line into this port where does it terminate?  Diagrams I have looked at do not seem to show this.

PROBLEM SOLVED,  Vacuum port is for refrigeration line which terminates at firewall.  This info is NOT in factory manual

just needed to have someone who knows Sukkis to point it out.

Vacuum port for refrigeration line  ???  Does your Samurai have a/c?

Yes and I figured out the port was for a refrigeration line which terminated to a port on firewall.  Suz factory manual

does not show this as I learned it was a dealer add on.

There's usually no interconnection between the intake manifold and the refrigeration circuits in automotive HVAC - I suspect what you're looking at is actually some form of "idle-up" mechanism to bring the idle rpms up to compensate for the additional load of the compressor - some vehicles use a VSV (Vacuum Switching Valve) with an adjustable air bleed bypassing the throttle plate.  It's a little unusual to see that style on a carbureted engine, but I think you would have the Hitachi electronic feedback carb, so it would probably work well with that.
