Hey guys, new to the site but have a problem. A couple days ago my daytime running light (DRL) module melted. Of course this means my low beams will not work. I searched for replacement modules but wanted and immediate fix until I got a new module. So I searched different forums and found some folks who just removed the DRL module and did a hard wire connection to have fully functional low beams So I followed their instructions and got my lights working with normal low, high beams and parking lights. I simply cut all 10 wires from the harness plug.
However, when I turned the ignition switch over to test what else might not be working I noticed the parking brake light illuminated. As I reached down to examine the left over wires I bumped the loose wires causing spark. Everything is now dead. No dash lights or anything. Starter engages but engine will not start. I've checked the fuse box and all look good. Head lights work and what not but no dash or engine fire.
I've changed blown IG fuse under dash. Still nothing. Is there something else or another fuse or relay inline past the fuse box?
Please help. I use this as my daily and need to be back on the road Tuesday! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

There should be an FI fuse under the hood - but - if you're not getting oil pressure & charge lights that's unlikely to be the problem.
Acks FAQ should have a diagram for your model year, get that and start tracing from the ignition switch.
