Title: Samurai Hose Clamps
Post by: megaton on May 18, 2017, 01:42:03 PM
It's been a while since I replaced my '87 Samurai's hoses so I'm going to do that and I remember having trouble with the clamps in the past. Is there a special tool for working with these clamps? Any tips on working with them?

There are special tools for the spring clamps.  I don't have one.  I've found the small needle nose Vice Grips work great!  They open far enough to get the tabs of the clamp in and then lock closed, holding the clamp tight and allowing you to maneuver the clamp to where you want it.
