Title: Hood Release Cable - Why cant i find aftermarket replacements?

I need replacment hood cables for a 95 Tracker and 96 X-90 and eBay has some used ones but why cant i find a decent aftermarket cable?  Are Samuri cables the same for Trackers and X-90's?  I did notice Trail Tough has Sammi ones for $21.
