Title: Death Wobble after 3 inch spring lift
Post by: awhit_13 on November 05, 2017, 10:27:23 AM
In need of some help on 1988 Suzuki Samurai. Installed all new 3 inch leaf spring lift from trail gear and now I have a really bad death wobble at around 30 mph when I hit a slight bump. Already replaced the steering damper, put a z link on it and tires have been balanced. I am super lost at this point and would love some input.  Thanks.

Check the caster. If it's less than say, 3 degrees, add some caster shims between the spring perch pads and the leaf spring packs (thick part of the wedge facing forward).
