Post by: wolf66 on May 17, 2005, 12:11:32 PM
Finished my switch panel today, hood rally lights, rack rally lights, spare, left bilge pump, right bilge pump and engine fan. (well it has two more screws on the right side to be put in...)

That looks GREAT!
Was that a newly purchased board, or was it out of some existing boat application?

NICE do the pumps actualy keep the inside dry or just dryer?
if they do work give me some specs on the types of pumps you are running.

because of the tranny hump you really need 1 on each side, I got 2-500gal per hr bilge pumps at Walmart |removethispart|@9.99 each, thats 20 gal per min total.

My X stays pretty dry if i make it across with no problems, its when I get stuck and have to get out and hook up the winch that the water builds up, last time it got high enough to flow over the hump and got the top of my seat wet.....

The bilge pumps should keep it down to a inch or two, then i can just open up my drain plugs when i get out...

YES,  Does the X float with the biget tires? just curious
I made a buggie and welded everythig on the botom and made the strut mounts connect to the outside of the weld and put hydrolic motors for the wheels with about a 40hp hydrolic pulm and if floated but that was kinda the point.

In the event of a water landing your seat will not act as a flotation device.  ;D
