Title: 86 Sammie won’t start pumping fuel but not into carb

I have a86 Sammi with stock motor brain box blow out got a new one installed it started rite up ran for like a min then stopped after that won’t start the motor is cranking no fire tho i tried starting it and step on the gas after about ten seconds it seem like it was trying to start a lil let go of key it would stop rite away turn key give it a sum gas it do it agian clean carb reinstalled it same thing idk wats going on needs some help

Stuck carb floats, stuck needle/seat, bent carb floats, clogged filter, pinched line,

Check whether you have fuel going to carburetor.  Back by fuel tank there is a rubber hose connecting fuel tank to fuel lines to motor, that frequently cracks.  This cracked line then draws air instead of fuel from tank.  That would be my first check before replacing fuel pump.
