Title: T-case Reduction Gears - do they always lower high range?
Post by: Fast Enough on May 10, 2018, 08:41:23 PM
Hola muchachos....been a loooonnnggg time since my last post (stretch job on my Sami and a z24 motor swap).

Doing another project rig...and have a question.

For t-case reduction gearing....when reduction gear kits are installed does this always reduce the high range along with the desired reduction to low range?

Or - is this something that happens with our Sami t-cases but not for other t-cases ?

Thanks gang

It depends on the vehicle/transfer case - some transfer case have a "direct" high range and on those transfer case gears won't change the high range.
