Just curious what people are doing mainly for the engine bay strut brace? Cutting around the body or making custom extensions for the brace itself? I'm thinking of making custom extensions but I'm curious if the strut is used at all in any tire adjustments as I see slotted holes as well?

The strut brace is not used in any adjustments, but, it's presence IS critical to the camber settings (the strut towers sag inwards if you leave it off), and your "custom extensions" or spacers will have an impact on the camber if not correctly done - if you're using camber bolts, you can probably tweak those to get the adjustment correct.

Thanks for the reply, i made two extensions 2” but we’ll dry fit it to see but worst case i will cut some sheet metal...

Well I tried to fit the extensions but the increase in height brought the centerlines in, so just be easier to cut some tin! :o

I tried the same thing, ended up just cutting the holes wider. Takes 5 minutes and costs nothing. How can you go wrong?
