Hi,
I have a 87 SJ413 that I'm converting to a 1.9L TDI with mechanical fuel pump. The vehicle is used for work out in the bush so a lot of driving on gravel roads with washboard and potholes. I had the stock samurai out for work for a month and the rough ride drove me crazy. The Trailtough Epic Trek SPUA kit sounds great but I haven't been able to find any thorough reviews on it's performance. I'm sure the ride is smoother with it but I want to know if there have been any issues with axle wrap. I know that the SPUA will help this issue as will the military wrapped springs in the kit but I don't want to be eating through U-joints or wearing out my drivetrain regularly. If anyone has this suspension kit please give me your thoughts on axle wrap and whether it is worth the heavy price tag compared to a new set of stock sized springs and shocks. Thanks!!

Brent The owner of Trailtough is a very meticulous person and suspension kit he builds will basically work flawlessly he isn’t cheap if you could afford it I’m pretty sure you would be happy with it. It probably scares you I would just go buy an old man emu suspension kit.
