Here is a link to a page with some more pictures from the last couple of weekends.

Nothing too drastic has been accomplished on the suspension, but we have removed the tranny and t case, started mocking up the rear, purchased shocks for the front, mounted tow bar attachments, and completely removed the rear end to work on it and re-mock it back up with springs. We will also be taking off the body lift and lowering the gas tank. My truck is like a shell. *grin*
Lots more will come when the Trail Tough stuff arrives this week (5.12 diffs one with lockrite, hardened (doubletough) birfs, front end rebuilt kit, etc.
And more will come when the OTT stuff arrives either the end of this week or beginning of next.
Within the next two weeks, this thing has to be on the road so we have a couple of weeks to test before Moab. I have a feeling the next two weeks will be like a frenzy.

Geez, Heather, nothing like cutting close, eh?
I've got several things to put on before Moab, but nothing THAT serious... You know, exhaust, fender flares, Xfer case gears, bell housing, clutch, roll cage... But the rig is currently RUNNING. Went snow bashing yeaterday.

*sigh* I know..
But we WILL make it.
Somehow.

Have you given a call to Discovery Channel. You could probably get a slot for Heather's Garage for the amount of time you've got left and with only 6 hands doing the tweaking. LOL.

Hey Bobzooki...
You got any recent pictures of your truck, or a web site with some?
Just wanna check out what it looks like today...

The body lift is leaving because she no longer needs the extra 3" of clearance. Also it has officially gotten in the way of garage extraction! ;D Even without it, she'll have more than enough room for 35s!
I'm sorry for the lack of forward progress with the kick, but there have been a couple of major developements in my married life that way took precedence over the project.
But we are getting back on track now! Wow, am I gonna be frantically busy over the next couple of weeks!!! Gotta finish with Heathers suspension, steering, gearing, body lift removal, crossmember and driveline fab as well as build another front axle, and do a rear end swap with my lwb as well as putting in a Kicker3, swaybar in front, transmission tunnel swap, and re-outboard my rear springs, install a rear locker, lower my front, raise my rear, build steering for one front end, build a new drag link for mine, redo my rear upper shock mounts, and change an engine on a Suburban!!!
All in three weeks!!!!!
And you thought you were busy!
I have to do all that at the same time I work full time!!! :'( :o :( :'(

Good Luck, I'd come help you
if I were a little closer :)
My brother and I lifted his 68'
International Crew Cab, Short Bed,
this might be the only one in existance.
We think it was custom built for So. Cal Edison
as a service truck for remote locations.
We lifted the bed and body 4" all custom fabbed
parts (what's new) and today I was extending the
steering and shifter lever when the little pin that
locates the shifter so it won't turn went missing,
this of coarse after I put it into the little hole in
the top of the shifter hole, I don't know where it
went, but I know Murphy's Law, it fell into the trans
Now we got to try and get it out, no luck from the top,
and it started to rain, (truck is too tall to fit in garage)
so now it's dump the oil to try to get it with a magnet,
and if thet don't work it will be take off the PTO and see
if we can spot it. This thing has a 12,000 lb PTO drive
winch with over 100' of 5/8" cable.
All this and a trip coming on Friday >:( I just had to put
that damn pin i there didn't I >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
And how was your day ???

got a tip for your Kicker3 install: use studs in (at least) the lower 2 bolt holes on the adapter-to-tracker T-case mount. This does 2 things, it helps you align the 2 cases making it easier to assemble, and more importantly, it prevents gear oil from pouring onto your face while installing the Kicker to the transmission (dont ask how I learned this!). Those 2 lower holes are at about the fill plug level, and if you tip it to install it you will be glad they are plugged with studs. ;D
