Title: The floor just fell off!!!!!
Post by: Fredo on March 02, 2004, 01:51:06 PM
Hum, my 92 tracker are SO rusted...

They are in very, very bad shape. The complete truck are in very bad shape! :-/

the back door wont close anymore and i hear noises coming from all over

It's time for change.

I spot an 2001 Grand vitara for sale, 16 995$(canadien dollars). It's a good price?

One thing is for sure, we will lift it! Anybody here have pics of lifted GV?

Thanx

Fredo

A brand new Grand Vitara costs about $23,000 CDN.  I have a 91 Sidekick that I take very good care of and I have to say that I hope my ride never rusts as bad as yours did.  Sorry to hear that man.

ive sold a few cars because the rust had got to me, including my sidekick.
i now have a samurai, and i honestly believe they (samurais) arent nice looking cars when theyre in mint shape, like perfect paint, no rust etc... track/kicks are a different story, but i prefer to "krylon" my rust as was mentioned, patch it up, or just leave it, cause the zuk is meant to enjoy, not do body work on... its not a classic car.
i definetly wash it and try to discourage more rust from coming, but im not gonna let the existing rust get to me like it did on my other cars
anyway, track/kicks are different though cause theyre geared more towards creature comforts and styling than a samurai is, so i agree with your decision
